The Beginning
A gap in the system,
spotted by educators.
Founded in Dehradun, Prayaas started as a small team of educators and former CBSE examiners. We saw students stepping into their boards without knowing where they actually stood - just hopeful guesses.
School unit tests felt encouraging. Coaching mocks felt manipulated. Neither told the truth. We set out to build the missing piece: an independent diagnostic assessment that replicated real board conditions and produced an honest, actionable report.

Edition 1 launched in December 2024. 850+ students assessed across 5 partner schools, with our first 8-page diagnostic reports delivered.
Across the City
Expanded to 30+ neutral test centres and 12+ partner schools across Dehradun. Built the Board Readiness Score (BRS) methodology.
Open Registration
Edition 2 (Dec 2026) opens to all CBSE Class VIII-XII students. Independent. Scientific. Trusted by parents and principals city-wide.
