About Prayaas - copy and paste this paragraph
The standard "About Prayaas" boilerplate for press releases, articles, and reference sections. Approximately 100 words; feel free to trim for your word count.
Prayaas Assessments is India's first independent diagnostic mock board for CBSE Classes VIII to XII. Founded in Dehradun in 2024 by Ankit Agarwal under Editude Eduservices LLP, the platform administers exams under real CBSE board conditions at neutral test centres, with anonymised evaluation by trained CBSE examiners. Each student receives an 8-page diagnostic report built around the Board Readiness Score - a 100-point composite metric that combines paper score, chapter-wise mastery, and percentile placement against the cohort. Edition 1 ran in December 2024 with 850+ students across 12 partner schools; Edition 2 is scheduled for December 2026, with 22+ partner schools targeted across Dehradun and Western Uttar Pradesh.

Founder bio
Ankit Agarwal
Founder, Prayaas Assessments
Short bio (50 words)
Ankit Agarwal is the founder of Editude Eduservices LLP, the parent company of Prayaas Assessments. With over two decades in CBSE education leadership across Doon Global School and Skill-eD, Ankit founded Prayaas in 2024 to address what he saw as a structural gap in the Indian assessment landscape: students walking into board exams without an honest reading of where they actually stood.
Long bio (250 words)
Ankit Agarwal is the founder of Editude Eduservices LLP and the architect of Prayaas Assessments. His professional path runs through three educational ventures: a 28-year CBSE day and boarding school (Doon Global School), an 11-year early childhood education brand (Skill-eD), and now Prayaas Assessments, which he started in 2024 after watching cohort after cohort of bright CBSE students discover their actual board readiness only when the marksheet arrived.
The Prayaas thesis is structural. School unit tests are encouraging by design; coaching mocks are calibrated to sell tutoring; neither is built to deliver the truth a 17-year-old needs four months before the boards. Ankit's view is that the missing third option is an independent diagnostic - administered at neutral centres, evaluated by anonymised examiners with no commercial relationship to the student, and reported in a tone that is interpretive rather than evaluative.
Edition 1 of Prayaas ran in December 2024 across 12 partner schools in Dehradun, with 850-plus students assessed and the first 8-page diagnostic reports delivered. Edition 2, scheduled for December 2026, will run across 22-plus partner schools in Dehradun and Western Uttar Pradesh, with the methodology now versioned and publicly documented at prayaassessments.com/methodology.
